Testimonials
Russellbrooke Wine Tours was the best part about our weekend to Beechworth. We took the tour because we didn’t want to drive and thought a few drinks would be fun but we ended up making friends with Russell and Brooke and meeting all the winemakers personally. It was a real education downed with a couple of spectacular wine! We have recommended Russellbrooke to all our friends and family.
Loved, loved, loved our trip to King Valley. It was a bit of a hike but the champagne and nibbles on the way certainly got us in the spirit. We went to Dal Zotto, Pizzini, Chrismont for lunch (WOW!!) then Red Feet on the way back. We were exhausted and slept the whole drive back to Beechworth. Best tour ever!”
We knew it was going to be a special day when Brooke jumped out of the Russellbrooke luxurious Mercedes Sprinter and welcomed us to the tour. It was all up from there. Champagne on the quick drive to the wineries in Beechworth, a fantastic lunch at Glenbosch and some of the best storytelling from Vinny at Baarmutha Wines made for a truly amazing day! We will be back!
Although we hadn’t been to Rutherglen before, we were obviously in great hands with Russell and Brooke who were treated likes VIP’s at every vineyard we stopped out. It’s clear that they know the wineries well! We had a fantastic tasting at Andrew Buller Wines – I’d say our best tasting ever! Andrew and Wendy were so welcoming and even had some snacks waiting for us. Lunch at Jones was next level … simply brilliant day! Highly recommended *****
We are locals and although the Beechworth wineries are just down the road, we decided to see what all the fuss was about and took a Russellbrooke Wine Tour ourselves. Well, suffice is to say it was the best fistful of dollars we’ve ever spent. We had 4 tastings and a fabulous lunch at Indigo Vineyard comprising of yummy tasting boards (pasture to plate) and wood fried pizzas. Thankfully home wasn’t too far away as we were totally spent by the end of the day. We have recommended Russ & Brooke to all our mates, the hosts with the most, that’s for sure!
With a group of 10 from Western Australia, it was always going to be a little difficult to organise “something for everyone” but we took a Russellbrooke Tour to the Beechworth Wineries and had so much fun, we booked another one for the following day to Rutherglen. What a hoot! Drank way too much wine (champagne and beer on the way to the wineries didn’t help lol), ate the best food in town and overall, had a smashing time. Accommodation at John & Janes Air BNB was also superb and catered very well to our large, feisty group! Most enjoyable.
I celebrated my 40th birthday with 14 of my friends and Russellbrooke took us all out in two vehicles. We visited King Valley and had lunch at Dal Zotto. Sitting outside on a warm summers day with goats and Llamas running around you was such fun. We stacked up the Mercedes Tour Bus with boxes and boxes and boxes of wine. Russell and Brooke couldn’t have been more helpful and fun to be with. We had lots of laughs and I have to say, it was the best way to drown my sorrows at turning 40!
